There are basically two types of bridal sets rings, parallel rings and integrated rings. Parallel rings are just like normal separate rings that you can wear them separately. Integrated rings on the other hand are designed to be worn as a pair. If you were to wear it as a single ring, it would look very weird and incomplete.
